How the money has been allocated

TA intervention – 1:1 support

Support in classes

Small group work (peer tutoring)

Music therapy – 1 day a week

1:1 support and residential experience and sports ambassador mentoring

Lunch time clubs

 

How we measure the impact of Pupil premium

Targets are set for each child

Across school comments are added to each form (largely anecdotal with factual achievements) to ensure all of their progress and achievements are being recorded.

The impact of the expenditure on eligible and other children

Significant progress is shown to have been made through tracking grids and is reflected in B-squared data both by individual students and by the rest of the class due to decreased ratios in classes.

Music therapy help to develop communication skills on a 1:1 basis.

PE & School Sport Grant 2013 -2014

We received £8150.00

From this grant we have had the SSCO (Schools Sport Co-ordinator) working with our students for half a day once a week along with a Dance instructor/coach half a day once a week. These sessions have been timetabled to accommodate all our primary classes.

Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy catch-up premium 2015-2016

We received funding for 11 pupils @£500 per pupil totaling £5,500 for this academic year. The funding was spent on laptops.

Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy catch-up premium 2014-2015

We received funding for 6 pupils @ £500 per pupil totaling £3000 for this academic year. The funding was spent on reading book for the new library.
