Welcome to Laurel class 

The Laurel class team includes 4 members of staff; Donna, Linda, Sam and Ashleigh. 

We have 9 amazing key stage 2/3 students in Laurel class who all bring something different to the group. Each child is celebrated for their individuality and everyone enjoys different areas of the timetable.

We explore our sensory needs through activities such as TacPac, story massage and Shabang and we develop our physical skills during swimming, bikes, PE, soft play, funky fingers and dough disco. We aim to increase confidence and independence of our pupils  and we enjoy doing this through forest school sessions, travel training and the bacon butty enterprise. We are able to work in small groups or 1:1 to support the progression of communication skills and we do this working closely with the speech and language therapists. Our timetable is fun, varied and inclusive for all and we can't wait to share more of what we do throughout the year.
