Social Stories
Social Stories are stories that support the safe and meaningful exchange of information between people of all ages. We use them in school particularly with children who have autism or who have limited understanding of social concepts. Often we support our Social Stories with symbols or photos and they can be printed or shown on a screen using something like PowerPoint
We read the stories to the pupils at various times and can refer to them too.
