Our Day at Lynton Farm in Oswestry

Cherry and Willow Class enjoyed a wonderful day out at Lynton Farm in Oswestry, making the most of the sunshine while learning all about life on a working farm.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting Wonky the bull, who quickly became a favourite with our pupils. We also spent time with the sheep and their lambs, watching the lambs being bottle‑fed, which was both exciting and adorable. The farm’s talented sheepdog gave us an impressive demonstration, rounding up the sheep with incredible speed and skill. The children enjoyed learning how the dog and farmer worked together. In the afternoon, we got creative by making artwork using real flowers collected from around the farm. It was a lovely way to connect nature with creativity. A really enjoyable day!
