Pancake Flipping Fun in Berry Class! 🥞

Berry Class recently enjoyed a wonderful pancake-making activity that combined fun, learning, and delicious food! The children had the opportunity to develop their fine motor skills while taking part in hands-on cooking.

To encourage independence and decision-making, we used choice boards that allowed each child to select their favourite topping. From fruity options to other tasty additions, the children loved making their own choices and personalising their pancakes.

As part of the activity, we also practiced our cutting and slicing skills by preparing fresh fruits, including bananas. The children carefully used tools to chop the fruit, helping them build coordination, control, and confidence in their abilities.

The highlight of the activity was, of course, flipping the pancakes and enjoying the delicious results together! It was a fantastic way to combine practical life skills, independence, and lots of smiles.
