Spaghetti Fun!

Date: 12th Feb 2026 @ 10:59am

Who fancies getting messy with spaghetti?!

During our fine motor skills session, the children had lots of fun exploring pink spaghetti. They used their fingers to squish, squeeze, and investigate the different textures, carefully filling cups and containers as they played.

To add an extra challenge, we used tongs to pick up the spaghetti and move it from one area to another — a great way to strengthen hand muscles and develop coordination.

Of course, we couldn’t resist being a little cheeky… and some of us even had a tiny taste too! 😋

A fantastic sensory activity that supported fine motor development, hand–eye coordination, and lots of giggles along the way!
