Swimming

Our school has a lovely big pool. We love our weekly hydro sessions when we get chance to be free in the water or maybe do some of our physio stretches whilst being supported by the water. We also love Liquid listening- speakers are placed inside the water and we are supported to float on the water surface. We can then feel the sound vibrations on our body and hear the music when any part of our head is placed in the water.

Through Liquid Listening the vibrations travel through the water and stimulate the inner ear directly, and so the listener perceives the sounds as if they are heard from inside their head.

This is an all-body experience of sound that is incredibly detailed and immediate & listeners can become very relaxed during the session.
