Welcome to Beech class 

Staff:  Clare, Dawn, Michelle and Kelly  

Beech class is made up of 5 boys and 1 girl aged 11-13. 

We follow the informal curriculum where we focus on 6 areas of work. they are; communication, physical development, independence, Sensory play and Outdoors. But most importantly making every day a happy one. All of our activities are designed to meet our individual needs and help us to stay happy and healthy. This includes lots of physical activities like swimming, bikes, walks in the community as well as 1:1 and group sessions like sensory stories, messy play and music. We are also very lucky to Our biggest challenge this term is to further develop our independent skill to help us understand the world around us.

We are beech class, we work hard all day,

We're not all the same, we each have our own way.

But we all have each other, how lucky we are,

Each one of us is different, but each is a star!

Some love instruments and making a noise,

Some love to play with sensory toys, 

Some like to swim, some like to dance, 

Some like a tickle whenever there's chance,

Some love massage or to relax for a while,

But most importantly we all love to smile.
