Spring Term 2021!

Well Willow became ‘Chillow’ again this first half of Spring Term!

We all adapted brilliantly to the restrictions around us and supported each other on daily Teams Video Messaging.

Here is a selection of some of our favourite moments so far this Spring!

Getting out and about more independently, using landmarks to guide us. Even linking it in with animal care!! Welcome Pippa.

We also had a lot of fun creating Pancakes and Celebrating how we care for others in our lives by creating Valentine cards and lanterns.

Of course, we haven’t forgotten about Cabbage and Patch! We have been able to give them lots of love and care in our free time.

Autumn Term 2020!

It was so good to finally be back in Willow Class and to see old friends, Cabbage and Patch… and some new!…. Welcome little Ru! We hope you can visit again soon!

We have all had to adapt to new rules and routines due to Covid-19. We enjoyed our first Video Call drumming lesson with Mark. We sounded Fab!

We have not been able to access all of our usual community settings, but we were able to set up our Willow Class ‘Snack Shack’ and we all helped out to prepare, stock up and clean the shack ready to serve our customers safely in their bubbles.

We have been able to get out and about for walks in our community and can still access some facilities, taking care to social distance and keep our hands clean.

We have enjoyed getting back into our kitchen and enjoying making some yummy treats!

One of our most proud achievements this term has been our MacMillan Fundraising where we really came together as a team to plan and organise events to support the charity in this Covid-19 period, as we couldn’t hold our usual coffee morning. The final total was £392!!!!
